-
We begin in our beautifully renovated community space, where you can explore 12 meters of vibrant murals and the beautifully curated displays showcasing a rich tapestry of historical, reference, and medical examples of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
We deliver an introductory talk on the cultural and historical significance of acupuncture and TCM, supported by our interactive displays and informative videos.
We then give a talk on what TCM encompasses, such as accupuncture, cupping, tongue diagnosis, herbal medicine etc and how the TCM approach to wellness is that “prevention is more important than cure”.
We visit our on-site clinic and explore the gardens, including the herbal garden. We have QR codes which you can use your phone to explore the TCM healing properties of the plants.
A presentation is given on Chinese tea culture and you can see how Chinese tea is traditionally brewed and what types of tea are used.
We give a live demonstration of tai chi or qigong, a gentle, relaxing series of exercises that balance emotions and encourage mindfulness. These ancient practices support physical health and overall wellbeing.
Dr Ping gives a demonstration of 5 movements based on acu-pressure to balance the 5 organs (heart, liver, lungs, kidney and spleen).
Learn Chinese calligraphy, a practice that encourages mindfulness and brain body connection.
We provide a delicious and healthy lunch with a focus on traditional chinese medicinal food that supports your health.
